Design Review Committee General Policy on Docks and Lakeshore Retaining Walls

As with any improvement to a Cory Lake Isles property, the proposed improvement to add a dock or lakeshore retaining wall must be submitted for review and approval by the Design Review Committee. Each lot has different sizes, elevations, water frontage and drainage into the lake and requires our engineering consultants to review the dock or lakeshore retaining wall installation as it pertains to an individual lot.  In accordance with the Cory Lake Isles Deed Restrictions, Article IX, paragraph 9.8, the Design Review Committee has established a fee of $150 to cover the expenses of the engineering consultant review of these plans. The fee must be submitted along with the plan and request for approval to install a dock or lakeshore retaining wall. The Cory Lake Isles approved dock or lakeshore retaining wall builders are familiar with this requirement and include this fee in their quotes and with the plan submittal.
