Design Review Committee General Policy on Rear Walkways

Rear walkways from homes to the Lake or docks are carefully regulated by Cory Lake Isles as they have the potential to affect drainage and erosion on the Lake.   All rear walkways require approval by the DRC.   All must:

  •  Curve – straight walkways act as a sluice for rain water and promote erosion at the Lake edge.

  • Be elevated - depressed walkways act as a sluice for rain water and promote erosion at the Lake edge.

  • NO CURBING or edging is permitted on any rear walkway - curbing and edging trap water and create sluice-like conditions which promote erosion at the Lake edge.
