A COPY OF YOUR OFFICIAL LOT SURVEY MUST BE INCLUDED WITH THIS APPLICATION (Please indicate on lot survey where alterations will be located on property.) The undersigned property owner hereby acknowledges and agrees that the undersigned shall be solely responsible for determining whether the improvements, alterations or additions described herein comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, code and ordinances: including without limitation, zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations and building codes. A building permit from the appropriate building department is needed on most property alterations and/or improvements. The design Review Committee (DRC) shall have no liability or obligation to determine whether such improvements, alterations and additions comply with any applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes or ordinances. As a condition precedent to granting approval of any request for a change, alteration or addition to an existing basic structure, the applicant, their heirs and assigns thereto, hereby assume sole responsibility for the feasibility, quality, and outcome of the repair, maintenance or replacement as submitted herein.
IT IS UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED THAT CORY LAKE ISLES PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC. AND FIRSTSERVICE RESIDENTIAL ARE NOT REQUIRED TO TAKE ANY ACTION TO REPAIR, REPLACE OR MAINTAIN ANY SUCH APPROVED CHANGE, ALTERATION OR ADDITION, OR ANY STRUCTURE OR ANY OTHER PROPERTY. THE HOMEOWNER
AND ITS ASSIGNS ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND COST FOR ANY ADDITION OR CHANGE AND ITS FUTURE UPKEEP AND MAINTENANCE.
The undersigned further understands and acknowledges that the improvements, alterations, and/or additions (the “project”) must be completed identical with the specifications of the application submitted herein and with any deviations or requirements as may be included in a conditional approval by the Design Review Committee. The undersigned further acknowledges that upon completion of the project, the homeowner must notify the Committee, at which time a representative will inspect the project to ensure compliance with the approval. Should there be any deviation between the approved project and the completed project, the homeowner will be required to make all necessary revisions to put the project in compliance with the approval herein. This will be done at the homeowner’s expense. Failure to notify the Committee of completion of the project or failure to complete the project as approved may also subject the homeowner to fines.
